1. General information
The DFP is carried out during the last year of the degree and is an indispensable requirement to obtain the degree in Civil Engineering. This subject has an integrating character that mobilizes the set of competencies that the student has developed throughout their formative process, combining personal interests, studies and experiences achieved. Specific competencies will be linked to it by virtue of the thematic and procedural choice made by the student.
These approaches and objectives are aligned with some of the Sustainable Development Goals, SDGs, of the Agenda 2030 (https://www.un.org/sustainabledevelopment/es/) and certain specific goals, contributing to some extent to their achievement. Especially with Goal 4: QUALITY EDUCATION, Target 4.7: By 2030, ensure that all students acquire the necessary theoretical and practical knowledge to promote sustainable development.

2. Learning results
The course Final Degree Project, DFP, has an integrating character that mobilizes the set of competencies that the student has developed throughout their training process.
The student should be able to:
- Perform, under their responsibility and individually, and under the direction of one or more external professors/professionals , a final degree project in one of the modalities included in the EUPLA Final Degree Project Regulations in the field of specific technologies of Civil Engineering - Civil Constructions, in which the competences acquired in the subjects. This work will be of a complexity and scope such as to prove that their work capacity is at the level required of a professional capable of successfullyintegrating into the labor market.
For this purpose, the following partial results will be demonstrated:
- Adequately define the objectives of the DFP through a DFP proposal.
- Identify and locate the most significant documentary sources related to the topic chosen for the dissertation and relate them coherently with the objectives of the dissertation.
- To carry out a justified work methodology that guarantees the achievement of the proposed objectives.
- Structure and adequately justify the results provided in the DFP.
- Correctly write the Final Document / DFProject including all the necessary sections or subdocuments.
- Present and defend the dissertation in public and before a university tribunal in a correct and structured manner.
3. Syllabus
It does not have a specific program since the contents of the DFP can be diverse according to the student's choice.
4. Academic activities
The following activities will be available:
- Face-to-face activities: There is no formal teaching as such. However, there may be control sessions by on the part of DFP Directors, Co-Directors and PRs.
- Directed autonomous activities: These activities will be directed by the tutor or director of the work, as well as the writing of the work will be done under the supervision of said tutor or director.
- Non-face-to-face activities: They may be face-to-face and/or virtual, and may be carried out both with the tutor or director and with each of the specialist teachers of the different subjects.
The course consists of 12 ECTS credits, which represents 300 hours of student work in the subject during the semester, i.e., 20 hours per week for 15 weeks semester, i.e. 20 hours per week for 15 weeks.
5. Assessment system
The assessment activity will measure the acquisition of the competencies of the subject through the learning results defined above . The evaluation procedure is included in the Procedure for the elaboration, evaluation and management of the DFP of the EUPLA (http://eupla.unizar.es/asuntos-academicos/trabajo-fin-de-grado).
The DFP will be assessed based exclusively on the intrinsic quality of the work performed, regardless of its modality of execution, its duration, or the place of execution (university, company, etc.)
Once the defense of the DFP is finished, the examining board will meet to evaluate and decide the grade to be assigned to the student, based on the documentation provided, the presentation and the defense performed.
